Inspiration: It's a Jungle out there

Wow, it really is a Jungle out there! The Internet is FULL of fun, unique and easy ideas to plan a Jungle Safari themed birthday party. Now, this inspiration board is a sneak peak of a party that I am styling for my sister's 3 youngest little ones. It has actually turned out to be a little bit of a challenge for me. She has two boys, one turning five and other turning three. She also has a beautiful little girl who is celebrating her first birthday ALL in the month of September! We thought it would be fun to plan ONE big party for all three of them.
Check back in a few weeks for the party pics!

Back to School

Welcome Back to School! Hope everyone had a great first day back. Today was one of my good friend's first day of teaching 5th grade. I wanted to make her smile- so I put this together for her! It's super easy to put together and is sure to put a smile on your favorite teacher's face.

All you need is 3o pencils, a Crystal Light container, ribbon and flowers. It's a great idea for any teacher's birthday, holidays, teacher appreciation day or just to say you care.

REAL Party: Giada's Garden

Happy Birthday Big Girl!

Finally, here are the photos from Giada's 1st Birthday party. We celebrated with a Garden Buggy theme and it turned out great! Everyone had an awesome time and I had a great time planning.

Here are a few shots of the favors.

Each favor box held a handmade butterfly or flower clip for all the little Girly Bugs.

Here is the Birthday Girl looking super cute in her Birthday suit!

Proud mommy and daddy!

And of course one of Big sister!

Happy Birthday Big Girl! We are so proud of you!

a very custom invitation...

Here is a little preview to my daughter 1st Birthday party. Now this invitation ended up being a bit more of a project then I had planned on. Oops! Only the best for my girls I guess. There were more than 17 pieces on EACH invitation. YIKES! I won't do that again. Okay... maybe I will. I had fun putting it together.

REAL Party: Daisy Baby Shower

One of my good friends is about to welcome her 2nd daughter and I was honored to be able to help with some of the decorations for her baby shower. Her newest addition's name is Daisy, so it was easy for us to decide on a theme.

Look at this cake! A friend of ours did this and WOW she did an amazing job. Can you believe this was her FIRST fancy cake she has ever made!

Riverside Low Country Boil

Now this was a party! My father-in-law recently turned 50 and we threw him a party literally right in his own backyard. If you're not familiar with a Low Country Boil, it is a traditional Southern recipe that stems from the southern regions of South Carolina and Georgia. It is a simple hearty one pot meal of corn, potatoes, sausage and shrimp that you literally just throw on the table.
Happy Birthday Louis!
